- General Raheel Sharif (Chief of Army Staff) directed the establishment of the Army Museum Lahore on 11 December 2014.
- The museum was planned to be developed on the pattern of Army Museum Rawalpindi, with further improvements.
- The aim of the museum is to chronicle the history of the Pakistan Army since 1947 through various displays.
- It highlights the sacrifices of our heroes and forefathers.
- The museum also aims to inspire the youth to become useful and responsible citizens of Pakistan.
- Construction work started in 2014.
- The Army Museum Lahore was inaugurated in August 2017.
- It was opened to the general public on 23 September 2017.
- Since September 2017, the museum has been visited by approximately 2.2 million people.

- میوزیم کو آرمی میوزیم راولپنڈی کی طرز پر مگر مزید بہتر انداز میں تعمیر کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا۔
- میوزیم کا مقصد 1947 سے اب تک پاک فوج کی تاریخ کو مختلف نمائشوں کے ذریعے محفوظ کرنا ہے۔
- اس کا ایک اہم ہدف ہمارے ہیروز اور بزرگوں کی قربانیوں کو اجاگر کرنا ہے۔
- میوزیم نوجوان نسل میں حب الوطنی کا جذبہ پیدا کرنے اور انہیں پاکستان کے مفید شہری بننے کی ترغیب دیتا ہے۔
- تعمیراتی کام کا آغاز 2014 میں کیا گیا۔
- آرمی میوزیم لاہور کا افتتاح اگست 2017 میں ہوا۔
- میوزیم کو عام عوام کے لیے 23 ستمبر 2017 کو کھول دیا گیا۔
- ستمبر 2017 سے اب تک میوزیم کو تقریباً 22 لاکھ (2.2 ملین) افراد دیکھ چکے ہیں۔

I welcome you to the Army Museum Lahore. The museum was established to pay homage to our great nation’s valiant sons and daughters. The museum highlights the services of the Pakistan Army in war and peace. It tells the story of the nation from the annals of history encompassing ancient time till its rebirth in 1947 and to date. Army Museum Lahore is serving the nation by preserving the military heritage and imparting it to upcoming generations. The museum presents the true and first-hand knowledge in the form of war chronicles so that our youth must know the sacrifices of our heroes and forefathers. The museum is being run with the spirit to inspire our youth to follow the footsteps of heroes and to further motivate them to
become useful members of the society for uplifting our beloved homeland to the zenith.
