Nishan-e-Haider is the highest gallantry award of Pakistan. Only those members of the Armed Forces of Pakistan, of any rank, who had performed acts of the greatest heroism or conspicuous courage in circumstances of extreme danger and have shown bravery of the highest order, or devotion to the country in presence of the enemy on land, at sea or in the air, are eligible for this award. نشانِ حیدر پاکستان میں بہادری کا سب سے بڑا اعزاز ہے۔ پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کے صرف وہ ارکان، جو کسی بھی عہدے سے تعلق رکھتے ہوں اور انتہائی خطرے کے حالات میں سب سے بڑی بہادری یا نمایاں جرات کا مظاہرہ کیا ہو اور دشمن کے سامنے زمین، سمندر یا ہوا میں ملک کے لیے اعلیٰ ترین بہادری کا مظاہرہ کیا ہو، اس ایوارڈ کے اہل ہوسکتے ہیں۔نشانِ حیدر پانے والوں کے مجسمے اور ان کی بہادری کی مختصر تفصیل اس خصوصی گیلری میں رکھی گئی ہے۔
