Unbooked Tours

Instructions for visits of Unbooked Tours

  1.  All Institutes over and above the Booking are called Unbooked Tours.
  2. Unbooked Tours are welcome on all days less Thursday and Friday.
  3. Unbooked Tours may face some Waiting Time at the Ticket Booth because the preference will be given to the Booked Schools.
  4. Routine Ticketing Policy will be applicable. (i.e. Rs.50 for Underage 12 & Rs.100 for adults)
  5. No concessional Tickets for the Staff.

Instructions for visits of Booked Visits

  1. The representative of school must go through the instructions before the visit.
  2. The visit of academic institutions are allowed only on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
  3. Submit the form with the details of your tentative visit.
  4. Mention number of students and staff.
  5. Number of visitors in a group must be between 20 to 120.
  6. Provide the name and telephone number of the coordinating individual.
  7. The visit will be finalized after the confirmation of museum authorities.
  8. Writing materials, Eatables, use of flashlight and video making are not allowed inside the museum premises.

Ticket Policy & Procedure for Planned Visits

    1 Teacher will be allowed to have the concessionary ticket (i.e. Rs.50) for every 20 students, the remaining staff will be charged as full.

SUMMER (16 April – 15 October)
Visit Days: Saturday to Wednesday
Closed Days: Thursday & Friday
Timing: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM
No Entry After 04:00 PM

WINTER (16 October – 15 April)
Visit Days: Saturday to Wednesday
Closed Days: Thursday & Friday
Timing: 09:00 AM – 04:30 PM
No Entry After 04:00 PM

Museum will remain closed on Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) and 9th & 10th of Muharram.
